"The interior designer and project manager, on the complete refurbishment of my 150 year old 5 storey, terraced home in London. Philip was the first person I appointed to the project, he even assisted me in selection of the architect and ran the process for selecting the builders.
Philip designed all aspects of the interiors, fittings and colour scheme, discussing ideas with me, taking those ideas to drawings stage, working with my input and interpreting it, or explaining on occasion why I was wrong, liaising with my 4 children in respect of their bedrooms and taking me for the occasional coffee or lunch, probably when he thought I needed energy for the next decision!
He never complained, was always available, very much looked after my interests, and designed and managed the project with a perfectionists eye.
I would unreservedly recommend him."

"Philip Lihou is an inspired designer and meticulous.
For several years I had idly wondered about housing several hundred ‘floorstanding’ books. But this was never more than a distant dream until a friend put me on to Philip. He listened to my ideas, came up with his own, and before long had designed an ingenious set of floating bookshelves which used the space above the stairs to full advantage while accommodating its irregularities.
The end result is superb.
Philip is a perfectionist, and the quality of the work is high. I might also add that he is a very nice guy. I would recommend him to anybody."
